It feels like just yesterday we were writing to let you know where you could find us this month and now March is almost over. Where did the time go? Now that the dust has settled, we wanted to just quickly recap our experiences at both Gamers for Giving and SXSW .

We were so happy to be apart of GFG this year and even happier that they raised over $170,000 dollars – surpassing their original goal of $100,000 by a mile. Much of this was due not to our fellow sponsors, but to the streamers and generous donors. Seeing all the streamers painting along with Bob Ross and accepting donations to improve or sabotage each other was hilarious.
We sponsored and were located in the streaming area. In retrospect, exposing us to LEGIQN might have been a poor choice. (kidding Jordan! <3)
SXSW was another first for us as we put together our own panel. We’d like to take a second and personally thank ZombiUnicorn & Aureylian (especially for hopping in last minute) for joining us on said panel. We were really impressed by the turnout so who knows, we may just do more.
While we were showing off at SXSW, we also reached out to the creative side of streaming over in Chicago at C2E2. We talked to many amazing artists about how we can help them share their works through Twitch’s creative section. Stay tuned to their streams in the future!
Although March is coming to a close, April and May will be just as busy with trips to the MLG CS:GO Major, PAX East, and Dreamhack Austin on the agenda. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks on each of those.
