And welcome to CRC integrated repair and app guide. These guides will will our centralised repository for product repairs and how to use the CRC app.

How to use the Guides?

CRC integrated guide is contextual. It gives you informations about the page you are on and product you are repairing. Here we are looking are guide for the CRC app homepage. 

  • To see more help, go to any other page and click help. 
  • To see product help, open any repair and click on help and then select the tab with product SKU name on it.

Below is explanation of how the homepage works before you move on to other pages.

How to start a repair?

To begin, start by searching the serial number of the product your are attempting to repair in the search bar. The search verifies warranty and takes you through the necessary steps before starting the repair.

Here are some of the outcomes that you could expect

1. Serial is recognised

Serial recognised under warranty and you can immediately start the repair.

2. Serial is recognised but purchase date can not be verified

Serial is recognised but the system can not verify the purchase date based on the products shipment date or registration. The app will ask for proof-of-purchase in such cases. A proof of purchase can be an invoice, shipment receipt or any other document proving the sale with customers details, sale date and product details with serial number clearly visible. The repair technician will be given the option to continue repair without warranty.

3. Invalid Serial Number

Serial is not recognised - Invalid serial: This could mean that the product has not been enabled in CRC yet. You can reach out to  crcsupport@cs.inc to request addition of the product.

4. Serial is recognised but "start repair" is disabled

Serial is recognised but "Start Repair" is disabled. This may occur if your tier does not allow access to the product.

2. Pages

Repairs lets you see repairs. Credit Claims presents a list of Warranty Repair Claims. 

Setup is another upcoming page that will help administrators manage users (Coming soon).

3. Help and preferences

Help lets you see integrated CRC Guide. Preferences let you log-out or switch roles.

4. Tabs

Tabs are like filtered views. They let you see Repairs or Claims by status e.g Open Repairs or Completed Repairs.
